Ingredients

  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 small Onion

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix together fresh squeezed citrus juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
  2. If desired, add honey or brown sugar for sweetness.
  3. Poke holes in the chicken to help the marinade soak in.
  4. Place the chicken in a bag or container and pour the marinade over it.
  5. Seal and refrigerate for 2-4 hours for balanced flavor (or up to 8-12 hours for intense taste).
  6. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
  7. Cook the chicken by grilling, baking, or frying until fully cooked.
