Method
 

  1. For BBQ Chicken Legs: Season chicken legs with garlic powder and smoked paprika. Place in the crockpot, pour in chicken broth, and stir.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, slather BBQ sauce over the chicken and let it meld with the juices.
  4. For Savory Herb Chicken Legs: Season chicken legs with salt, pepper, dried thyme, and rosemary. Toss in smashed garlic cloves and lemon juice.
  5. Add white wine or chicken broth to the pot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
  7. For Spicy Asian-Inspired Drumsticks: Mix soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, chili flakes, and minced garlic in a bowl.
  8. Pour the mixture over the chicken legs in the crockpot.
  9. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
