  • 1 can diced green chilies
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 block cheese (Monterey Jack or cheddar recommended)

Method
 

  1. Gather your ingredients: boneless, skinless chicken, salsa, diced green chilies, taco seasoning, and block cheese.
  2. Layer the chicken in the crockpot, sprinkle taco seasoning, and pour in the salsa and green chilies.
  3. Set the crockpot to low and cook for about 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, shred the block of cheese and stir it into the chicken mixture until melted.
  5. Once cooked through, shred the chicken directly in the pot using two forks.
