Method

  3. Cook the chicken breasts in the skillet for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Alternatively, preheat the oven to 375°F and bake the chicken in a baking dish for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Remove the chicken and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  7. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté for 30 seconds.
  8. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth and juice of half a lemon, scraping up browned bits.
  9. Stir in salt, pepper, and lemon zest; add cream or honey for richness if desired.
  10. Serve the chicken with sauce and garnish with parsley if using.
