Method
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin. Mix thoroughly without overworking the meat.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into round patties about 1/2-inch thick. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes if desired.
- Heat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat and brush it lightly with olive oil.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Let the patties rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Top with favorite toppings such as sliced tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, or sriracha mayo.

Notes
For a gluten-free version, swap ground chicken for turkey and use almond flour instead of breadcrumbs.
To prevent dry patties, you can add a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese to the mix for extra moisture.
Leftover patties can be used in salads or sandwiches, and they store well in the fridge for up to 3 days or can be frozen for longer storage. Always label containers with the date.
