  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • q.s. Olive oil for sautéing

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Butterfly the chicken breasts by slicing through the thickest part to create a pocket.
  3. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Sauté the chopped broccoli in olive oil until slightly softened.
  5. In a bowl, mix the sautéed broccoli with shredded cheese.
  6. Spoon the broccoli-cheese mixture into the chicken pocket and fold the chicken over.
  7. Secure the stuffed chicken with toothpicks or tie with kitchen twine.
  8. Place the stuffed chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  10. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
